Nearly New is a reseller of used, premium children’s clothes on behalf of third party sellers who hand over the clothes on consignment for the purpose of Nearly New reselling them online.

The seller agrees that Nearly New:

• Reserves the right to reject certain items if they are deemed not to meet the standard for reselling due to, but not including: stains, tears, snags, pilling, excessive wear, missing zips buttons, or from a store we do not resell.
• Any rejected items will be donated to charity. We are currently working with The Clothing Bank empowering women.

Nearly New’s commission structure works on a sliding scale of cost per item. Nearly New will pay the seller:

• Items less than R1000 per item = 50%
• More than R1001 = 70%

Should any fees be owed due to courier, these will come out of monthly payments until courier fees have been settled.

Nearly New reserves the right to set the price of the clothes that give them the optimum chance of resale.

Payment from Nearly New will happen once a month, in the first week of the new month, and will include commission for all items sold in the month prior. Should this payment be less than R200; payment will roll over to the following month.

Nearly New is not responsible for any products lost, stolen or damaged during transport.

Should items not sell after a period of 6 months (or longer if Nearly New deems this appropriate) we reserve the right to discount the items and/or donate them.
